Maskaolin x ELYN’S LAB – ACNE CARE

If you’re looking for an effective solution to the redness from acne and the blemishes or pigment spots that remain afterwards, you’ll love this mask. Maskaolin and ELYN’S LAB have teamed up to create ACNE CARE clay Face Mask Base, which is perfect for oily and acne-prone skin.

Kaolin, also known as white clay, is especially effective for problematic skin. It’s non-drying and packed with useful minerals to improve skin condition.

PAD (Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate) is a derivative designed to replace azelaic acid. By combining azelaic acid and glycine, the skin benefits of azelaic acid were retained, but a much thinner, fast-absorbing active ingredient was created. PAD controls sebum production and helps maintain skin balance. Its ability to inhibit the enzyme responsible for melanin production helps to get rid of post-acne marks and fight pigmentation, while it provides a light moisturising effect thanks to its glycine content.

This powerful duo is also boosted with zinc, which contributes to skin regeneration, reduces oilyness and helps fight acne.

HOW TO USE?

Maskaolin x ELYN’S LAB – ACNE CARE

2-3 times a week:

1. To prepare your fresh mask, put some mask base in a small bowl and add water. As a rule of thumb, use as many spoonfuls of water as of mask base, but feel free to change the proportions to suit your own taste.

TIP: If you only want to apply the mask to your face, 1 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of mask base should be enough, but if you want an extra spa experience, increase the amounts, you can use our masks on any part of the body (e.g. neck, chest, back).

2. Mix the mask base with the water. It’s best if it doesn’t run, but has a creamy texture and is easy to spread.

3. Apply to cleansed skin using your fingers or a brush, avoiding the eyes and other sensitive areas.

TIP: You can also change the amounts according to how thick you want to apply the mask. If you apply a thin layer, it will start to dry very quickly, but if you have some more time, you can also apply a larger amount.

4. Leave on for 3-6 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. It’s best to wash off when it’s starting to lighten in patches, but it’s important not to let it dry completely everywhere.

5. Remember to moisturize after use!
