To ensure consistent quality, our company has developed a clean & minimal (chemical-free) processing method. Due to this unique processing, the mined Hungarian clay fully retains its original mineral content and crystal molecular structure, hence all its beneficial properties as well. All of our Maskaolin face mask base powders are made from naturally occurring, 100% pure clay minerals which were formed 150-200 million years ago. The colour of our hand-selected clay is natural. It has a negligible content of minerals with colouring impact such as iron oxides. Maskaoilin is free from additives and artificial colouring.
Production methods
We have a manual clay selection process. The raw clay is carefully chosen by hand based on purity by trained professionals. Then, the pure clay is sun dried, which is a traditional drying method for reducing the moisture content, thus avoiding microbiological contamination. The production is 100% natural, chemical-free.
We are NOT using bleaching, chemical leaching solutions nor any synthetic materials. Maskaolin does not undergo any ionisation (gamma-radiation) nor high temperature heat treatment (calcination). These practices destroy the original cleansing and nourishing power of clay minerals.
Specialized technology
The ultra-fine Maskaolin powder is produced by innovative, uniquely designed dry-grinding equipment. The specialised production line for mineral cosmetic ingredients ensures ultrafine particle size and consistent distribution. The clay mineral is processed in a controlled, clean environment according to Good Manufacturing Practices guaranteeing microbiological safety.
