PRODUCT INFORMATION

Maskaolin BASIC+Microalgae

This time we boosted the BASIC clay face mask base, which is suitable for all skin types, with microalgae.

Microalgae is less than a millimetre in size and is considered to be the most ancient organism. It is known for its loads of benefits for the human body. It regenerates, strengthens and nourishes thanks to its high protein content (70%). Microalgae stimulates cellular metabolism and strengthens skin barrier. Its antioxidant effect helps to get rid of uneven skin tone.

The microalgae we use is cultivated in a Natural Park in Spain, where it is grown in an exceptional natural environment, far from any polluting sources. The microalgae in Maskaolin clay mask is dried at a low temperature. Thanks to this, our microalgae has an extremely high, more than 13% content of phycocyanin, which is a specific pigment of microalgae (spirulina), responsible for its strong antioxidant effect.

Kaolin, also known as white clay, gently cleanses the skin due to its crystal molecular structure. Thanks to its mild moisture absorbing capcity, it does not make your skin dry, however it improves skin condition with its beneficial minerals.

After removing the mask, your skin will feel fresher, brighter, and smooth to the touch.

HOW TO USE?

Maskaolin BASIC+Microalgae

2-3 times a week:

1. To prepare your fresh mask, put some mask base in a small bowl and add water. As a rule of thumb, use as many spoonfuls of water as of mask base, but feel free to change the proportions to suit your own taste.

TIP: If you only want to apply the mask to your face, 1 teaspoon of water and 1 teaspoon of mask base should be enough, but if you want an extra spa experience, increase the amounts, you can use our masks on any part of the body (e.g. neck, chest, back).

2. Mix the mask base with the water. It’s best if it doesn’t run, but has a creamy texture and is easy to spread.

3. Apply to cleansed skin using your fingers or a brush, avoiding the eyes and other sensitive areas.

TIP: You can also change the amounts according to how thick you want to apply the mask. If you apply a thin layer, it will start to dry very quickly, but if you have some more time, you can also apply a larger amount.

4. Leave on for 3-6 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. The thicker you apply the mask, the slower it dries, but it’s best to wash off when it’s starting to lighten in patches. It’s important not to let it dry completely everywhere.

5. Remember to moisturize after use!
